There’s nothing quite like bundling up the family to select this year’s Christmas tree. It is a wonderful tradition that creates so many fond memories. Big or small, green or flocked, the tree is the special core of your home. Keeping your tree fresh and beautiful is one of our traditions. For many decades, Calloway’s, Cornelius & Tom’s Thumb have been helping families find that special tree they’ve been dreaming of. Our tree forest is full of lush and fragrant Fraser and Noble Firs that you have come to love. Douglas Firs are a part of the mix this year to give you one more option with their full appearance. And if you are dreaming of a white Christmas, you’ll love their flocked or snowy tipped trees.
We take “Fresh Cut” seriously, so seriously that it begins way before the trees arrive at our stores. Our trees are grown at some of the finest family-owned farms in the country. One generation passes along their expertise to the next generation to provide the best tree possible. We start the planning process over 6 months in advance and once they arrive at our stores, we take it a step further and give each tree a fresh cut at the base of the trunk. This simple, but important act lets the tree continue to absorb water. Each tree is then placed in a premium stand that is kept filled with water. Getting your tree home safely is a top priority too. We’ll place your tree in a huge plastic bag and our trained team members will bag, load, and secure it down for you. Handy tip: you’ll want to keep that plastic bag for easy disposal after all the wrapping paper is long gone. Don’t you worry about a tree stand because the stand comes home with the tree! We take care of the little details so all you have to do is keep it watered, add your cherished ornaments, and enjoy!
