Aglaonema range in size from compact, 8-10-inch tall plants to larger varieties that will grow to 18-24 inches tall. It grows at a medium rate. This plant does well in lower light areas, but can tolerate indirect, bright light indoors. It requires an evenly moist well-drained soil for optimal growth, but will die in standing water. It is not particular as to soil pH, but grows best in rich soils. Aglaonema can be interspecific hybrids or cultivated species.
