TROPICAL HIBISCUS TRADEWINDS™
Enjoy an island getaway in your landscape with beautiful Tradewinds™ Tropical Hibiscus. These amazing blooms are full of bright and bold colors that will easily transform your garden to a tropical haven. Tradewinds™ Hibiscus is a leading variety known for its large, exotic blooms surrounded by the attractive glossy, green foliage. These vibrant shrubs produce daily flowers from spring to the fall. The bold blooms make for gorgeous cut flowers to accent centerpieces or place settings, or you can incorporate into a floral arrangement.
Tropical Hibiscus will grow to be about 3-5 feet tall with a spread of 3-4 feet. This plant does best in full sun when planted in a landscape or partial sun when planted in containers, but a good rule of thumb is to allow the plants to receive about 4 hours of sunlight daily. The brighter the light and heat, the greater the flowering! These flowers require an evenly moist soil and will not tolerate standing water. Never allow the soil to dry out or allow plants to wilt. Plant in a well-draining soil and allow the water to drain through the soil and out of the drain hole when watering.

TROPICAL HIBISCUS: TIPS FOR PLANTING IN CONTAINERS
Planting Tropical Hibiscus in containers and decorative pottery gives you freedom to decorate your landscape with these beautiful plants. You can accent your plants with fun and funky containers to give your back yard a personalized touch that fits your style.
Another benefit for planting in containers is temperature control. Tropical Hibiscus is not hardy outdoors when temperatures drop below 50 degrees. When you plant in containers, you can easily move your Tropical Hibiscus to shelter and protect them when temperatures drop.

Simply, add Calloway’s Premium Container Potting Soil to the container, leaving room for the plant. You can add pebbles or stones to the bottom of the container to help with water drainage and to prevent the drain hole from getting clogged.
Then, add your plant. Remove your Tradewinds™ Tropical Hibiscus from the container and gently break up the root ball. Plant in the potting soil and add more soil if needed.
Water in your plant thoroughly until the water drains through the drain hole.
