IDEA #1: CREATE A COOL & WINTRY LOOK WITH CYCLAMEN

STEP ONE: ADD POTTING SOIL
Fill your container with Calloway’s Premium Container Potting Soil, leaving room for plants. Calloway’s Premium Container Potting Soil is made from the highest quality ingredients for healthy, continued growth.
STEP TWO: ADD YOUR PLANTS
First, plant the Italian Stone Pine in the center of your container. Italian Stone Pines are elegant and beautiful. The silvery blue needles resemble a Christmas Tree with branches that are an ideal size for small ornaments.
Next, add cool season blooms like Cyclamen. Space them evenly around the Italian Stone Pine. Cyclamen is a flower with swept-back petals surrounded by heart-shaped leaves. They come in a variety of colors like red, white, pink, and more. Cyclamen thrive in the cooler seasons and perform best in the shade.
For our creation, we wanted a wintry look of greens and whites. Another option would be for you to make your design extra merry with the addition of red Cyclamen.
Complete your creation with Dusty Miller for its striking, silver foliage. It is a great complement to flowering annuals, and it really ties the look of the whole container garden together.
When you finish planting, water in thoroughly. Add more potting soil if needed. Give your creation an extra touch of Christmas joy with the addition of holiday décor or ornaments. After the holidays, remove those elements and enjoy your wintry creation all season long!
IDEA #2: MAKE CHRISTMAS COLORFUL WITH MATRIX® PANSIES
SUPPLIES:
- Matrix® Pansies
- Norfolk Island Pines
- Rosemary Cone
- Calloway’s Premium Container Potting Soil
- Pottery
- Gardening Gloves
STEP ONE: ADD POTTING SOIL
First, fill your container with Calloway’s Premium Container Potting Soil, leaving room for the plants.
STEP TWO: ADD THE PLANTS
For this option, plant a beautiful Rosemary Cone in the center of your container. Rosemary Cones are great as Christmas décor, easy to grow, and you can use them in your holiday recipes. They have a soothing fragrance and are even shaped to mimic a Christmas Tree. Rosemary Cones are a delight to decorate with and you can continue to enjoy this fragrant plant after the holidays.
Next, add a couple of Norfolk Island Pines next to the Rosemary Cone. Norfolk Island Pine is known for its needled, arching branches and vibrant green color. It is easy to care for and has an extra dashing appeal.
Complete your creation with an abundance of colorful Matrix® Pansies! Fill in the empty areas of your container with a variety of colors to mimic traditional Christmas lights. Plant the colors in a random order for a bright and cheery impact.
When finished planting, water in thoroughly. Add more potting soil if needed. Enjoy your dazzling blend of gorgeous greenery and vibrant color all winter long!

STEP ONE: ADD POTTING SOIL
