Halloween isn’t just for candy anymore! This year, treat yourself to Air Plants and decorate your space with a container creation that is just too cute to spook.
STEP 1 – GATHER SUPPLIES:
For your Halloween creation, you will need the following items:
- Air Plants
- Glass container
- Black pebbles or sand
- Black Glitter
- Orange Glitter
- Gold Glitter
- Halloween trinkets
STEP 2 – ADD BLACK SAND OR PEBBLES:
First, create a fang-tastic design with layers of shimmering colors. Grab your glass container and start with the black pebbles or sand.
Create uneven areas by pouring more on one side than the other. This will make a wavy pattern as you add more layers.
STEP 3 – ADD ORANGE GLITTER:
Top your bottom layer with a heavy pour of orange glitter. Follow the process and pour more on various parts to keep the wavy pattern going.
STEP 4 – ADD BLACK GLITTER:
Next, to keep things sparkling, add a layer of black glitter.
The black glitter will create a fabulous contrast from the matte layer of black pebbles and the bright, orange color of the neighboring layer.
STEP 5 – ADD GOLD GLITTER:
It’s time for gold! Top the black glitter layer with gorgeous gold. Gold adds an extra layer of vibrant colors that compliment the Halloween theme.
STEP 6 – TOP OFF WITH BLACK PEBBLES:
To complete the layers, finish with the black pebbles. Top off your creation with a thinner layer of black to help tie it all together.
STEP 7 – ADD PLANTS AND DECORATE:
Now that your layers are set up and ready to go, it is time to add your plants and decorate! Place your Air Plants into the top layer to secure them and keep in an upright position.
Add your Halloween pieces like googly eyes, pumpkins, jack o’ lanterns, or whatever you want to add to create your spooky design.
Treat your co-workers, friends, teachers with your clever creation and the perfect gift. Decorate your home, office, apartment, or dorm and enjoy a low-maintenance creation that screams of Halloween!
STEP 8 – AIR PLANT CARE:
It is important to care for your Air Plants, while they are extremely low maintenance; they do still need filtered light and water. You can mist your Air Plants with water about 2 times a week to keep them fresh and happy.
