NO CARVE PUMPKIN DECORATING IDEAS
Swarming Bats Pumpkin
SUPPLIES:
- Pumpkin of Your Choice
- Bat Rings or Small Paper Bats
- Hot Glue
- Scissors
Are you looking for a fun and modern twist to your fall pumpkin décor? Try Swarming Bats Pumpkins! First, open the bag of bat rings. Carefully, cut off the ring loop, leaving the bat. If you are using pre-cut paper bats, skip this step.
Next, start hot gluing the bats to the pumpkin. Begin at the bottom left side of the pumpkin and end at the top right side of the pumpkin. Place them in a flowy design to mimic a swarm of bats flying in the air. Remember, use adult supervision with hot glue.
You can continue this design on both sides of your pumpkin or only one side. Display your Swarming Bat Pumpkin in your entry way and welcome visitors with your darling design.
Spider Pumpkins
SUPPLIES:
- Mini Pumpkins
- Black Pipe Cleaners
- Googly Eyes
- Hot Glue
Spider Pumpkins is a great pumpkin decorating idea for kids. To begin, cut your pipe cleaners in half. You will need at least 6 to make the legs for each pumpkin. Bend each piece to create your spider legs before gluing.
Carefully and with adult supervision, add hot glue to the top of the pumpkin by the stem and place each leg. Repeat on both sides of your pumpkin.
Make any spider leg adjustments as needed, but wait until your glue is dry so the leg stays in place.
Finally, with a couple dabs of hot glue, add the googly eyes to complete the cutest little spiders you have ever seen!
Display your Spider Pumpkins on a shelf, table top, or gift to a friend!
Mummy Pumpkins
SUPPLIES:
- Pumpkin of Your Choice
- Rolled Gauze
- Googly Eyes
- Hot Glue
If you are looking for creative pumpkin decorating ideas, try making a Mummy Pumpkin! First, hot glue the end of your gauze to the bottom of the pumpkin. Wrap up around the stem and back towards the bottom. Add more glue on bottom to hold the gauze.
Then, start transitioning the gauze to wrap horizontally around the pumpkin. Leave a small gap where the eyes will be placed. Add more hot glue where needed to hold the gauze in place. We recommend gluing only on the back side of the pumpkin or on the bottom. Luckily, the gauze covers the glue extremely well. Don’t worry if you need to add a bit of glue to the front strands to keep them in place.
Once the wrap is in place, add the googly eyes and your Mummy Pumpkin is complete! Display it where everyone can enjoy it like on a window sill or covered patio.
