STEP 1: THE FILLING
Prepare your ingredients for the filling. Slice 4 ripe peaches into 8 wedges each. Chop your fresh basil, zest your lemon, and put everything into a large bowl.
Add salt and sugar and combine.
STEP 2: THE TOPPING
Combine vanilla cake mix with 2 sticks of melted butter. Mix well until the batter is smooth.
STEP 3: MAKE YOUR COBBLER
Pour your filling into a small baking dish or pie tin.
Pour topping over the fruit mixture and smooth until everything is covered.
Bake at 400 degrees for about 25 minutes or until topping is golden brown and cooked throughout.
STEP 4: ENJOY!
