STEP 1: MINT SYRUP
First, prepare your mint syrup. This will be folded into your whipped cream for the fantastic mint flavoring.
In a medium saucepan, heat sugar, mint, and 2 tablespoons of water and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and allow ingredients to steep for up to 15 minutes.
Strain into a measuring cup and press to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids and allow the syrup to cool.
STEP 2: STRAWBERRIES & WHIPPED CREAM
After you have hulled and sliced your strawberries, place them aside.
In a large bowl, whip cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in ¼ cup of the syrup and re-whip to stiffed, if needed.
STEP 3: ENJOY!
In a serving glass, spoon in alternating layers of strawberries and cream; starting with the strawberries first.
Finally, top with a mint sprig.
