Phalaenopsis Orchid features showy spikes of orchid-like flowers of various colors at the ends of the stems in early spring. Its oval leaves remain dark green in color throughout the year. This is an open herbaceous evergreen houseplant with tall flower stalks held atop a low mound of foliage. Its bold texture sets it apart from other indoor plants with more refined foliage. This plant should not require much pruning, except when necessary to keep it looking its best.
