Miltoniopsis Orchid features showy spikes of pansy-like flowers of various colors at the ends of the stems in early spring. Its oval leaves remain dark green in color throughout the year. This is an open herbaceous evergreen houseplant with short flower stalks held atop low simple foliage. Its relatively fine texture sets it apart from other indoor plants with less refined foliage. This plant should not require much pruning, except when necessary to keep it looking its best.
